Kalle Ryan is a writer and performance poet from Waterford. His energetic, passionate and wildly funny live poetry performances have seen him gain a reputation as a powerful new voice in the bubbling Dublin spoken word scene. Kalle’s plays and poetry have been published in New York City and Utah and he can now list award winning songwriter to his credits, He won the Irish Times alternative national anthem competition for his song “My Blood is Boiling for Ireland”. He runs and MC’s one of Dublin’s most popular monthly arts nights “the brownbread mixtape”, where he also writes and performs comedy sketches with the highly regarded Brownbread Players sketch troupe. In the past year he has performed his poems at notable Irish literary events such as the Dublin Writer’s Festival, Electric Picnic and the Flatlakes Festival.

Colm Keegan continues to write some of the most interesting and powerful poetry in Ireland today. As a performer he is growing in stature as well and he recently cemented that status as All Ireland Slam Poetry champion 2011.  Colm has been short-listed for the Sunday Tribune’s Hennessy X.O Literary Awards on four separate occasions. He also co-run’s Nighthawks at the Cobalt Café. He also appears regularly as a reviewer on Arena arts show on RTE Radio 1.

Stephen James Smith is a remarkable performance poet and a bit of a legend in Dublin. Not only is he a former Cúirt International Literary Festival Grand Slam Poetry Champion, he is also the MC and organiser of the excellent weekly Glór Sessions (Dublin’s only weekly poetry event) in the International Bar. Last year he proudly represented Ireland at the Vilenica Literary Festival in Slovenia and is currently recording an EP of Irish poems with musician Enda Reilly. Stephen is a truly hypnotic presence onstage.
